Summer and December are the peak seasons and the best time to come of course. San Jose Del Monte is far from the city so it will be a lot less cheaper than rates in Manila that you see online.
if you like to witness the Christmas season and feel the Christmas air, visit the phils in December. At least, the weather is good, the air is cool and you feel good too. Summer months that is around March- May is also nice. But kinda hot and if you like beach, this is the time. You must have someone who knows the place. For that location, the peak season is during school days, weekends will be less congested. Avoid staying late into the night as there are less taxi and commuter bus or jeepneys using the route at night.
San Jose del Monte has a pocket mini city so it is better to find a place there with everything within walking distance.
It is partly urbanized but largely residential.
Along its routes are lines with marble/granite quarries and cement factories, aggregates crushing plants.
At the periphery of this sprawling mountain urban development are pockets of open areas and forested hills suitable for resort development.
There are three major entry/exit points to San Jose Del Monte, that is, from the south via Quirino Ave, Fairview-LaMesa Dam, next is via North Luzon Expressway exit from the east or from the north, Sapang Palay Settlement, the province of Bulacan.
I have stayed in Sapang Palay for a while with my auntie some 30 years ago, and rarely have gone there lately after she died. My work is focused on residential design development in Cavite particularly in Tagaytay and Trese Marteres mostly for relatives.
