Going to Vegas next weekend, and we are not sure where to stay at. Most places have pretty low rates the nights we are going. We were going to originally stay at Planet Hollywood, but have heard mixed reviews. Any suggestions or comments about the following hotels:
- Planet Hollywood
- Caesars Palace
- Treasure Island
- MGM
- Monte Carlo
- Mirage

Oh and we are in our early 20′s.

Going to be traveling to Las Vegas with my 3 year old daughter in April 09. This is for a family members wedding otherwise I wouldn’t be bringing children to Las Vegas. Since the wedding is at a strip hotel we are looking for something that we, along with my child, will enjoy.

So my question is I’m trying to find a hotel that has a good, kid friendly pool, and decent rooms since outside of the wedding this is where we will be spending most of our time. We have narrowed our search to 4 hotels. An advice on the pools would be helpful.

The hotels are: the Luxor, the Flamingo, the Monte Carlo and the Excalibur.

~£190/night. Not cheap!!

But just wanted to know if anyone knows whether you need to be 18 to stay in a hotel room alone?

Can get my parents to book it if the bookings an issue (although i have a VISA debit. Fully accepted anywhere that takes Visa, so can book online myself)

But when we get there, there’s not a chance we’ll be denied entry due to some weird rule/law? is there?

Didnt think this would turn ugly. It was just a question. We have 2 teenagers of our own ,and I think if the tables were turned, we would not see anything wrong with it, but that is why we are on here getting some feedback.

Are the cheap rates because of the fire? Also, how is it for younger people? I’m in my 20s.

Also, yes, I know where it is on the stip. Please compare the ameneties (pool, rooms, etc) and not the location to other 4 star Vegas hotels.
