My husband and I are going to Vegas during Christmas for 6 days. It’s my first time to Vegas. We are not going to gamble much and we are more interested sightseeing and foods. Location, cleanliness and safety is important to us.
I wanted to book Gold Cost but it’s fully booked up already. MGM and some other nice hotel is too expensive. So, I don’t have much choices.
Excalibur and Bill’s cost us the same. And Monte Carlo costs $50 more. Which one do you think is better for us?
Definitely Excalibur. Bills is in a better location on the strip but Excalibur is nicer and more comfortable for the money. Hope you are booking with discount promo codes.
If it is $50 more for your entire stay then I would take the Monte Carlo. The rooms are so much larger and nicer at the Monte Carlo. Bills has a great location on the strip. It is right in the center of the action. However if you plan on driving during your stay I would avoid Bill’s. It is right on Flamingo and the strip and to get in and out of their parking garage is a nightmare. More accidents there than anywhere.
Excalibur has better rooms than Bills and the parking is better. Good location but stay away from their buffet. They think the only seasoning is salt and they use lots of it on their food. Even their desserts taste salty.
If the price difference is $50 a night then I would take Exaclibur and use the $300 for other things. If it is a total of $50 then I wouldn’t hestitate .. Monte Carlo.
Between Bills and Excalibur there is no contest Excalibur every time between Excalibur and Monte Carlo, MC wins
Excalibur hands down
IMO, there is no choice, hands down I would go with Bill’s Gamblin Hall(ex Barbary Coast)
I have stayed at all of the hotels you mention…
The rooms at Bill’s are much nicer than those at Excalibur, Bill’s has a much better location.

If it matters to you, of all the hotels on the strip, Bill’s parking garage is both the most convenient and easiest to get into and out of…The only thing you can’t do is turn East(away from the strip) on Flamingo…

Bills, just for the location. Excalibur has alot of kids. Bill’s is centralized, right across from the fountains and caesars.
Excalibur I stayed there in June and it is a very nice hotel ….friendly staff and has a great location.
